Oh God! Where have I been and What HAVE I been doing? I guess we have been doing some talking but I have had a very difficult time writing things down. I thought the church chat at Sunday services went well but you already know, a number of people came to me with regret, guilt, feeling bad ..... whatever we call it when we feel like we "should have done something" better, more, sooner.  And here I am saying the same thing about not writing prayers. So obviously, I'm not the only person with some self reflection. I can so easily be consumed with what concerns me. You already know there are alot of us who feel this way. Thank you for still showing us that we are important and all this individual stuff matters to you. Praise God for His generosity. Help us to notice how much understanding we receive, so that we will also be able to give so freely. Jesus did not come into the world to condemn but to save and we have been choosen to be HIS LIGHT for others.

It is so amazing that you hear us when we talk to you. Please Lord, Tell us what WE NEED to hear. We want to live your greatest commandment. Open us, that we will Love you with all of our heart, with all of our soul and with all of our mind and that WE WILL Love our neighbors as ourselves. God is always listening. He knows our hearts and our intentions and He knows our weakness. He put each of us in each others lives for HIS purpose. So let us rejoice and be glad for what God has in store for us.

There is so much going on at Mt Cross, well in the world. Please give safety, fun and the right spiritual covering for us and our kids on Halloween. Elections, What can I say? Also safety, fun and the right spiritual covering for our candidates and voters. Our church budget is up for review and decisions. Church leaders and Pastors  making decisions. The continued investigation for ur new  Children, Youth and Family director is truly a leap of faith as we wait to meet Greg Nov 20 weekend. Seems like safety, fun and spiritual covering goes for everything today. There are also special concerns for our members, family and friends. Thank you Holy Spirit for your intercession when my words won't come. We trust in you Lord and thank you for again taking care of us and our needs.

  In Jesus' name,  AMEN

Thank you Pastor John and Sheri for getting Prayer Central up on the Prayer Blog on our Mt Cross WEBSITE under Adult Learning. You can now add your comment or own prayer as a reply to share with us all.

See you soon,   Dottie

Hi Everyone,    God is good... and has a sense of humor... or I could just be embarrassing myself.   I got a new iphone but am still learning what to do with it. I flew into NY and been driving south. I am now in S.C. visiting family so I feel like vacation has really started. The last few days I have been writing for the prayer blog but have discovered that I can't send out my emails... but I now can use friends computers again.  So a brief on some of the prayers I have been writing..... Woke up @ 1AM in a motel in VA feeling the need to pray Thurs night. Thank you Lord for providing the Holy Spirit to intercede when I don't know what to pray!  I opened my email and saw Patti's update on the candidates. Thank you Lord for giving our church such devoted volunteers for these interviews and providing the right person to become a new member of our education leadership. We all look so forward to what you have in store for us and him or her. Also Lord, you know who else needs a special prayer tonight. Thank you for giving them the answers, comforting them, protecting and guiding them. And I trust your timing since I'm having trouble sending outgoing email. The people who see this prayer will know you have not forgotten them.   The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those with a contrite spirit.  I went to a Baptist Church today. We all opened our Bibles for the sermon. The Lord is powerful and present in all places. The words from His mouth will not return empty but will accomplish what God desires and will achieve the purpose for which God has determined. God sends us out in joy and He leads us forth in peace. We are in the hands of Jesus who is enclosed in the hand of God and sealed by the Holy Spirit. AMEN. Can you feel that protection? We are present, in the place we are supposed to be because God has a plan for us, to give us a hope and a future. HE is preparing us for HIS purpose. So be still and know that GOD is GOD. We don't always know if the good we are in will be bad or if the bad we are in will be good so praise GOD anyway. Don't ever grow weary of doing good, perseverance is motivated by God's provision.

SO... keep praying and praising God... and absolutely know you are welcome to send in your prayers to Sheri so we can all share... or send to me if you would like to be included in these "all together" prayers. Blessed be HIS name.
