Vicar Amanda BergPastoral Intern
Amanda is currently serving as the pastoral intern at Mount Cross until August 2021 and is a third-year seminarian at Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa (Distance Learning). She completed her training in spiritual direction with the Jesuits at the Manresa Center for Spirituality in Dublin, Ireland in 2016. Amanda will also be working part-time at Holy Spirit Retreat Center in Encino as a part of her internship experience. Amanda is originally from North Carolina and has lived many places growing up. She and her husband Eric are both CLU alums, have been married for 27 years and have three daughters. In addition to being delighted to be a part of the Mount Cross Lutheran community, Amanda and her family enjoy family jam sessions, travel adventures, and are always on the lookout for great ice cream!
