How to Be an Antiracist Book Group

Information: The book group is open to the community and will begin Thursday, June 11 at 7 PM on Zoom. Email Bill Stoll at [email protected] if you would like to participate.  

Timeline
Thursday, June 11; 7:00-8:00 PM – Introduction and Group Norms- we will share a video of the author discussing his book, talk about group norms to guide our conversations and answer any questions.  Don’t worry if you haven’t started the book as the first discussions will begin the following week.

Thursday, June 18; 7:00-8:00 PM – Begin discussion of first 4-5 chapters.  We have a large group and may use Zoom’s breakout room feature.
Thursday, June 25, Thursday, July 9, and Thursday, July 16; 7:00-8:00 PM - Continue discussing 4-5 chapters each meeting.  (If this pace turns out to be too ambitious, we may extend the schedule).  Note: There is no meeting on July 2.
