Deacon Cecelia Travick-Jackson

Deacon Dr. Cecelia Travick-Jackson joined Mount Cross in 2015 after retiring from California Lutheran University where she served as an Associate Professor of Education. Dr. Travick-Jackson lived from coast to coast in the United States and has traveled extensively outside of the States. She was ordained and installed as Deacon Cecelia at Mount Cross Lutheran Church in December 2021 and is a welcome addition to the church staff. Deacon Cecelia loves traveling, animals, and especially working with adult seniors and describes herself as a lifelong learner as she will always be taking a class in something. Deacon Cecelia feels honored to be working with and expanding the senior adult ministry at Mount Cross.
