Carol Browning

Office Manager, Music Director
Carol Browning has been involved in pastoral ministry for a long time, primarily in Lutheran, Episcopal, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Campus Ministry settings, although she is a member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Her work has mainly been in the areas of music and liturgy, however, she also has years of experience in church office settings, as part-time office manager for St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, as well as previously part-time office manager for King of Glory Lutheran Church, where she was music director. Carol is a liturgical composer & songwriter and occasional magazine & book contributor, published by GIA Publications, WLP (a division of GIA), Liturgical Press, OCP, and MorningStar Music. She has a heart for contemplative prayer and leads monthly Taizé and similar ecumenical worship at St. Columba’s. She feels blessed to be part of the Mount Cross staff!
