This year at Mount Cross we will be kick starting our new campaign for children, youth and families called "Use Your Voice". This is a series of events and discussions circled around speaking up when injustice is present. Our first part of the series began in September with Stacy Germundson, a school counselor for middle and high school students who has also created a camp for young women called BOLD.
The focus for this event will be on every child believing they are precious and important with infinite potential. When young people know they are loved unconditionally and are empowered with a purpose, they can do amazing things.
The second part of this series will take place in January, 2021 and we look forward to seeing you then!
Resources For Families
Illustrated Ministry is a website that has many resources for children and families. This is where we purchase our children's bulletins as well as other coloring resources. Here is a link to their website to find out more information.
Taking Faith Home is a weekly routine for families providing scriptures to read each day leading into Sunday's worship. There are also some ritual components such as caring conversations or table prayers and devotions that can be incorporated into your every day lives. Here is the link if you would like more information.
