Middle School confirmation (Grades 6th – 8th)
The mission of youth ministries at Mount Cross is to bring together young people and adult mentors in order to create a space where youth can encounter Christ through Community, Scripture and Service.
We do this by gathering around a meal, for worship, playing games, learning about the Bible, and getting to know each other in small groups. At Mount Cross we call our Middle School ministries “Confirmation”. To “confirm” something means to say “yes” to it. Our hope is that through their experiences at church and church-related events our youth will be encouraged to say “yes” to the way of Jesus. Confirmation
Confirmation is our comprehensive program for our middle school youth from 6:30-8:00 PM each Wednesday. Through our three year program the youth will learn about the Old Testament, New Testament and the basics of the Christian faith as summarized in The Small Catechism by Martin Luther. We have fun each week getting to know each other, eating dinner together, singing our favorite camp songs, and deepening the faith of our wonderful youth! For more information on Middle School Confirmation Youth Activities, please contact the Church Office. Forms & Files for confirmation![]()
