Mount Cross Child Development Center "The Preschool on the Hill"

The "C.D.C." has been an important part of the ministry of Mount Cross Lutheran Church since the Fall of 1988. The school may have been here since then, but it has roots that go back in Lutheran education here in Camarillo for over thirty years!

Cathy Channels, the Director, has been recognized by the national Stand For Children program as Early Childhood Educator of the Year.

Available Programs:

Two and a half hour programs offered

for ages 2 yrs. 9 months to 5 years

Morning and Afternoon - 2-day, 3-day and a 5-day Pre-K

(5 day Pre-K is mornings only)

Special Developmental Kindergarten - Monday through Thursday Afternoons

Quality education in a Christian setting

Weekly chapel with the pastors in the sanctuary.
