Tips for faster listening on your computer

 

An easy way to listen to mp3 files on your computer is to use Windows Media Player.  To make them play automatically when you click on their link, here is how to adjust the settings in the program.

1.  Start Windows Media Player

2.  Go to Tools and then choose Options

3.  Click on the tab marked Player, and make sure there is a checkmark in the box that says Connect to the Internet (overrides other commands.

4.  Click on the tab marked File Types, and make sure there is a check mark in the box that says MP3 audio file (mp3). 

5.  Click Apply, then OK and these files should start to play shortly after you click on them.

 

Tips for downloading podcasts to your mp3 player, iPod or iPhone:

 

1.  Right click on the file you want to save and choose Save Target As…. 

2.  Save the file some place on your computer where you can find it later.

3.  Transfer the file to your mp3 player or import it to iTunes.
