For
Council:
-This coming weekend I will
not be at worship. I will be attending
a synod youth gathering with 11 of our High School students down at CLU.
-The
CDC celebrated it’s 20th anniversary this past week. Thanks to Pastor John for the
powerpoint. Good reminder of what an
important ministry this has been for Mount Cross. I continued to be surprised of the impact God has had on our
community and church through this ministry.
-We
have a good candidate for Praise band leader in Caroline Hobbs. She auditioned this last Sunday. Waiting for personnel to make a decision.
-We
are starting out the year with some good energy in our Confirmation class. We have some new adult volunteers from Our
Savior’s Lutheran church in Oxnard, and the students seem enthusiastic about
participating.
