CARING COMMITTEE REPORT
September 12, 2005
The Caring Committee continues in it’s component ministries.
The Home Communion group is lead by Paul Christensen, and has been well received by those who receive the monthly visits. Keith Selbrede and Mary Goodenough were commissioned in August. Marjorie Browne signed up to serve during Rally Day. She will be trained and commissioned by Pastor John.
The Cards and Calls Ministry continues with members making periodic contacts. Luanne Crockett volunteered to join this ministry on Rally Day, bringing membership to seven.
Flower delivery continues to function well, with coordination through Karen Gramacki (who schedules worship assistants) and Marilyn in the church office.
Our next goal is to begin a group of Friendly visitors, but thus far there are no volunteers. This will be publicized more in hope of having it become functional, as there has bee an expressed need for this.
